TAGLIERE

ABOUT THE TAGLIERE WEBSITE

Tagliere is a fictional Italian based charcuterie restaurant located in Boston, Massachusetts. This was inspired by my time in Florence, Italy. This website allows customers to buy fresh/local Italian cheese and homemade wine that is served in our restaurant. Not only that, but our website offers a "Pairings" page that is perfect for those at home who are trying to figure out what to put on their charcuterie board.

Wireframes serve as a blueprint for your website’s layout. The boxes marked with an “X” indicate where images will be placed. As you develop the site, you gradually incorporate color, illustrations, details, and other elements. Below is the wireframe I created for this project. Comparing it to the flat images in the section above, you can see how everything seamlessly fits into the structure!

ILLUSTRATIONS

For this website, I experimented with a new illustration style called 'offprinting.' This technique creates a slightly misaligned effect, where the ink appears slightly offset from the outline of the object. To the right, you can see the offprinting style applied to the wine, cheese, and olives, along with the color palette used throughout the website.

PROTOTYPE

Once all UI components were fulfilled, I started focusing on more of the UX components, like prototyping. Once all of the prototyping was done on Adobe XD, I recorded a quick video to show how someone might interact with the Tagliere website.
