“EYES” - BY GEORGIA BERRY
THE STORY
I’ve been writing music for as long as I can remember, and I still do to this day. During my junior year of high school, I took a leap and released my first (and possibly last) single. Looking back, I wish I had shared more of my meaningful songs before putting that one out, but life moves on, and I’m still proud of it. To this day, friends and family love playing and singing along at gatherings—reminding me of what I love most about music: its power to bring people together.
RE-BRANDING “EYES”
As a junior in high school, I had little to no experience in design—I actually created this album cover in Goodnotes back in 2020 (EEK!!) But improving designs is what I love to do! So, I took key elements from my original cover and completely revamped it. As an illustrator, I hand-drew everything except the typography, bringing new life to the design while staying true to its roots."

EYES HAT MERCHANDISE
This “Single Release Packet” includes a vinyl record, CD, a hat, and a pack of seven stickers.
The hats are available in designs inspired by the three most popular eye colors: blue, green, and brown. Inspired by a more simple design, I took the main elements from my album illustration and put them onto a hat!
STICKERS MERCHANDISE
This “Single Release Packet” includes a vinyl record, CD, hat, and a pack of seven stickers.
Each sticker features a unique design and color. I wanted to take a different approach with these—leaning into imperfection rather than avoiding it. As artists, we often chase perfection, but it's the flaws that make each piece special. These stickers are a reminder that no art, no eye, and no self is ever truly perfect— and that’s what makes them beautiful.
ALBUM DESIGN PROCESS
To create a realistic effect, I started by…
Taking a photo of my own eye and importing it into Procreate —> Over the next 2–3 days, I meticulously detailed each aspect to achieve the sketch-like look I envisioned.
Once complete, I exported the image as a JPEG, transferred it to my MacBook, and imported it into Adobe Illustrator —> There, I image-traced the artwork and refined any colors that didn’t transfer correctly
After that, I brought the illustration into Adobe Photoshop —> In Photoshop, I added and manipulated typography to enhance the simplicity of the album cover.
