Everyone has their own method for brainstorming a project. For me, I rely on two main approaches: sketching in Procreate (you’ll find examples of my process throughout this portfolio) and jotting ideas in my “Little Black Book.” True to its name, it’s a small black notebook with dotted pages—perfect for organizing all kinds of brainstorming thoughts.

The images below show my process in both Procreate and my sketchbook, including early label concepts that were later revised. This particular design was one of the more challenging ones. Creating a honey label that felt distinct from others—while experimenting with unique color choices and staying true to the brand’s overall style—was no easy task. But in the end, I’m proud of the final outcome. It stands apart from other honey labels I’ve seen!
